European breakdown cover

Hello all, i will be holidaying in France for 2 weeks and will be driving to and from there by car. During my stay, i will be using public transport so will essentially be using my car just for the drive there and back. I need to get European breakdown cover and was wondering if anyone knew if companies would allow cover just for the 2 days i will be driving or will i need cover for the whole 2 weeks. Any cheap cover plans ideas also welcome. Thanks in advance

I don't know how if they would cover you for the 2 days, but I use Green Flag, and I had to call them out last time I was in France and they were brilliant. I got my car stuck in mud in the middle of the night, (that's *not* covered by breakdown insurance) but they got someone out for me quickly, I had to pay him some cash (only about 30 euro), and because it's not covered, they said they would invoice me for the rest, but never did. They were so helpful though, I'd definitely use them again.

How about ADAC in Germany? AA equivalent, Europe wide cover so valid when you get back here to. If you travel regularly might be a better idea.
