So i agreed a price for a piece of kitchen equipment from the seller, she agreed to post it and i sent the money through. Then after a few days nothing, I sent contact emails which after a few days she complained i should be more patient as she'd had a family crisis. I said sorry about that and she'd send it out. Nothing further from her, won't answer my emails and i think blocked me. Facebook is so complicated to get answers to my queries, my fault i suppose sending money before delivery. I did manage to tick a box for scam, but Facebook haven't replied.

Yes, Marketplace and by Bank Transfer. Unable to collect as the item was over 300mls away.Just frustrated that there doesn't seem to be a simple process to complain (i'm not computer or internet savvy). I did manage to click on a description of what the seller seemed to be ie Scam/Item bought not arrived. Not heard anything back from Facebook/Marketplace.

What sort of ‘kitchen equipment’ are we talking about here ? An electrical item at a bargain price (Ninja/Kitchen Aid or similar) ?0

Probably sold well in excess of £1000 + in total, I always offer PayPal g and s , in fact some sites insist on it , the odd thing is I get a lot of people insist on bank transfer to pay as they believe PayPal is dodgy and the bank will just hand back their money if they don’t get their goods.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
