Quit job after 2 months. Can I claim JSA or NI credits?

My friend was on JSA for 6 months and then was on NI credits for around another 6 months. He then found a job through an agency for approx. 2 months and then quit the job last week.
Can he claim JSA or NI credits whilst he looks for another job?

If they quit the job there is a possibility they will be sanctioned and not able to claim JSA immediately. It would depend on the reasons for quitting.

What about just NI credits or does the same issue apply there too.?0 -
Employment on Trial
Employment on Trial allows you to leave a job and start claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) again without this affecting your benefit (unless you’re sacked or leave because of misconduct).
You must have worked more than 16 hours a week for between 4 and 12 weeks before leaving the job.
