Beware Tripadvisor Virus

Options
Just heard from a friend who's computer has been infected after logging onto tripadvisor. this is what he says ..........

"I have just been on the Trip Advisor site and my computer has become
>> infected with the following virus.
>>
>> Virus name: JS\Snz.A
>> Properties relating to it are: IE5\E6LTQQNR\tripadvisor-V111[1].js
>>
>> I am forwarding this email to anybody who uses Trip Advisor to warn them
>> NOT TO LOG ON. Their site is obviously not secure.
>>
>> Perhaps you can pass the information on to as many people as possible."

Has anyone else (Techies?) had this problem?

    Its not a virus.
Its a bug in various security products, such as Zone Alarm etc.

maxi isa... i suggest you give the information that budgetflyer has posted and send it to your friend, and then suggest your friend to apologise to everyone that he's told that tripadvisor is insecure..

i've never had a single problem with the site in the many years that i've been using it!

Thanks budgetflyer for your prompt and helpful response.
I've relayed it back to my friend.
I'm relieved there is not a problem because I use Tripadvisor whenever I plan a holiday.
