I've just built a house and it is currently being marketed to rent, but I need insurance cover until it is occupied by tenants. I've tried Insure Me but they declined as it is owned in a company name. Anyone else out there doing this type of insurance?

You'll mainly be looking at brokers, Vasek (part of Gallaghers) has been promoted a few times by people with hard to place insurance needs but have no personal experience of them.1 -
When I was renovating to let out the cost of insurance when unoccupied was prohibitive, I just held out until tenanted. I know its a risk, but you have to weigh up the cost against the risk.
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.1 -
