Options for playing Music on Plex?

We have an Amazon Echo and an Echo show. The how has the screen glitching issue but still working until my Wife tried to
play some music through Plex where it failed and said the account needed linking.

It should be linked it has worked fine for a while now, but selecting the link option gave a webpage not found error.  Jumping through hoops
trying to relink it makes we wonder if there is a better option. Something with a screen would be handy but the wife is not that into tech.

But the audio needs to be reasonable quality and volume so not cheap phone/tablet audio.

Music is stored on a Synology NAS with the Plex server. What are my options?

Sonos kit can stream off Plex and have a high WAF, maybe the Sonos ERA 100?

Seen enough bad customer reviews of Sonos and their practices to know I want to avoid them.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

Trying out a tablet and dedicated speaker option because that should be as close to 100% uptime as it gets.  Have to see how

the device gets used and whether to go with something else in the future.
