New driver insurance - Hastings

Hi,

My son just passed his driving test and I was getting quotes for car insurance and Hastings Direct (with a black box) came up cheapest. Hastings look ok according to trust pilot and defacto.

When filling in the details it asked how long you have had a license, which seeing as he only passed his test today I put 0 months, however, later on it asked for the driving license number, which I entered (from his pass certificate as new license hasn't arrived yet).

I then continued and purchased the policy, however, now I have looked at the policy details in the account section and it says license type "full UK - manual", license held "1yr", license issued "18/Aug/2023", which it must of got from DVLA based on the driving license number.

Do I need to correct this or do they know what they're doing when they ask for the license number and use the data from that? Anyone else had this with Hastings?

Thanks in advance
