CityFibre subcontractors nearly did an installation on my own land OVER my BT Fibre

Lucky I was home yesterday.
Went to the front door to let someone out, and saw lots of "Men Working" warning signs around my bungalow and big white paint marks on my own path.
CityFibre subcontractors were about to take up a strip of my Tarmac path RIGHT OVER THE TOP OF MY BT FIBRE. And then install a CityFibre box next to my bungalow wall.
I have never asked for a CityFibre Box. Perfectly happy with BT.
Luckily the chaps were very polite and immediately stopped working on my path.
The compromise we reached is that they would install their Box in the Council grass area in front of my path. NEXT to my path. (No CityFibre cable under my path, cable terminated in their Box.)
I sent off a Complaint to CityFibre and have quickly received an apology.
(CityFibre are in the area for 5 days working in the Council pavements.)
So perhaps just watch out for this, if your own Boundary Area is not marked by a wall. And adjoins Council Land. (Here, we are not allowed to erect walls at the front, in our deeds.)
Here is one website where you can search for what works are going on in your area and for how long. Zoom in on the map.

Picture. White arrow is the one they painted on. (We attempted to scrub it off.) And that is right on top of the BT Fibre.
You can just about see next to the wall, the mark that was a painted square box.
