Is a taste card worth it?

Recently got an ad for tastecard. I had one years ago, but wondering if anyone has recently purchased/used one and if its worth the monthly £7.99 a month?
Me and my kids eat out a lot but unsure whether I would use it.

TBH.... Only you know the answer to that I guess0

You can get an annual pass for about £30. If you use Prezzo and the like, then yes it’s worth it. We saved over £100 in 12 months. Also you get 25% off many coffee shops0

Depends how much you eat out and whether the restaurants you go to accept it.
Would make zero sense for my wife and I.Know what you don't0 -
Do you have access to any of the voucher schemes through employment such as Reward Gateway, Remus, Perkbox and the like? These can sometimes offer dining discount vouchers and avoid the need to pay the subscription.glass12full83 said:Recently got an ad for tastecard. Old post, but if you take advantage of the Meerkat meals offer (along with meerkat movies) from compare the market, a lot of those same restaurants offered by tastecard are on there.
Sadly it's pretty slim pickings for restaurants in my area, I get a tastecard through work for £2.50 a month but have only used it once. Tastecard also offers discounts on days out, but a lot of those offers are available outside of the tastecard via independent voucher schemes or just the site's own promotion.
IMO paying full price for it is not worth it1 -
They do offers. Last year I got a years membership for 99p, although even at that price it wasn’t really worth it for me, we did manage to use it once but there wasn’t much on it for the places we eat and drink Check what’s available before you buy and look out for the offers1

I occasionally had a Taste Card paying £29.99 a year and my savings usually exceeded the fee but not by a massive amount. Since then I've made use of free 30/60/90 day trials and last year I got a whole year for £1 via some charity offer. It can sometimes save you a fair few quid but the offers are not as good as they once were and can often be bettered via other promotions. This space has been intentionally left blank0
