Hi all,
I'm in a situation where I have tax liability in the US and UK which is becoming more and more complicated and honestly, frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reputable financial advisor that's au fait with this particular minefield please?
TIA

If you Google "financial advisor for us citizens in the uk" or something similar it comes up with various options. I can't vouch for any of them but worth contacting at least a couple of them to see if they can help you out.
Depending on what you want advice on you might be better searching for an accountant rather than a financial advisor, though some of the companies I found seem to offer both.0 -
Can't recommend anyone, as this will be a very specialised area. However Googling "financial adviser" "UK" "USA" comes up with some links. For example:I do not know if they are independent, what fees they have, or what FCA (or other) registration details. You would need to do some research, and phone around some, and from the looks of it it depends if you are a US or UK citizen, where you are resident (and probably if there is a "r" in the month

Someone I know, whose opinion I respect, uses Tanager Wealth Management. Their feeling is that they are expensive but definitely worth it.0
