Never seen a perfect repair yet from an insurance repair, broken fixings, incorrect fixings, poor paint match, poor alignment.1 -

Yes, generally they will prefer to use a bodyshop rather than a franchise dealer but then most franchise dealers just subcontract the work to a bodyshop, often the same one the insurer recommended, but just add a hefty margin on top.1 -
Just because they rip off the insurance company doesn't mean they do a good job. I've had to had remedial work done on insurance repairs.
