It's an early start after a bad night, not unusual for me.

I'll be meeting a friend mid morning for coffee and chat, that's all that's on the agenda today.

Wet and very windy this morning, we've certainly had a weekend of weather! Hopefully the roads will be ok today.

Enjoyed the panto yesterday, it was a bit slow to start but the second half was really good, the little one loved it. Got the train there and back which was very easy.

Think I must be invisible!   Been up ages, washed my hair and now having first coffee. The wind has been huffing and gusting all night.

I'm off to exercise class in a coupe of hours.

Just caught up with the end of yesterday's thread.  DP1 your DGD comes out with some hilarious one liners!

Well the wind seems to have died down here thank goodness and today is going to be a little calmer.  Bread and soup making is on the cards today so with Boom radio keeping me singing along to some very old songs I'll be a happy bunny.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. Another silly o'clock for me too. It really does get jading.   Not much happening weather wise today I don't think, after a couple of days of getting everything thrown at us.

It's Round Two at the dentists today and another long appointment. I am trying not to think about what's in store for me. No other plans other than probably feeling sorry for myself afterwards and another couple of days of baby food.

Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. DP1 fingers crossed your little DGD can enjoy her Butlins break this time and there are no dramas to upset it. Take care all and stray safe xx

Quick one here as I’m due at work early 
Horrendous weather yesterday with floods everywhere but the craft fair made up for it - odd how two days can be so totally different so I feel much better about things.   Loads of lovely people and what’s more is they bought!

Good morning all, dry outside and the wind has dropped. 

OH has gone to take his car for a service and MOT. I was going to follow him but he is having a courtesy car provided. Hope its not too expensive (haha, of course it will be,  it's a car).

With one month until the big day its officially ifits time. If it's in the freezer it needs to be used to make space for the Christmas food. I can see some odd combinations coming up.

Thanks for the suggestions re DD and presents. I have had a think and realised it's the whole Xmas thing she loves. The Christmas shopping for gifts, wrapping them and giving, so who am I to spoil that. So lots of looking online for ideas. I have a couple of things in mind.

Morning...well that was a wild weekend, the gazebo is no more, it was flapping like a stranded pterodactyl in the wind and has torn to pieces. Good job OH has ordered a shed to ome Friday. I'm not too bothered about anything that got rained on except my shredder and my seeds [ which I didn't know were in there, I thought they were safe and dry in the greenhouse.] Door is on the bathroom now so I just have to get some wood to put stops on the inside, the cooker cleaning is ongoing, so far OH has done an exemplary job. Date night was excellent, I think we ate our body wight in meat, I had a food hangover Saturday for sure. So today is clearing the greenhouse of the tomato pots so I can put the shredder and lawnmower in there, and do bits and pieces about the place.

Gers, don't worry, happens to everyone dp1, that's very funny...TA, fingers crossed for today..take care all!

Morning all. Think it's better weather here today after yesterday's non stop wind and rain.

First load of washing is done and I'll be popping to the shops in a while. Weighed myself this morning - not too bad but could do with a bit of improvement so will be careful with what I eat. Easier said than done at this time of year

Good to have a quieter day after lots of driving around yesterday.

Morning everyone
Lovely blue sky and sunshine but also blowing a gale - it's meant to last all day.
I have a phone call soon re-assessing dads finances with a lady from adult social care. I have everything she needed except for details of dads' funeral plan, does anyone know why this is counted as an asset?
Then work at lunchtime - I have decided to go back to working just 4 afternoons as the 5 is exhausting me and I am in a lot of pain with my hands and feet just now and general achiness. Manager is quite happy with it, I did say in September that I would try the 5 and see how I managed.
Right I'll wish you all a good day as my phone should be ringing soon.
Mehefin I was wondering if your horses were ok too.

Morning all

Dry here for now but rain due later I think, I have cancelled Rob today as I am non stop coughing hopefully I will feel a bit better tomorrow.

Another day where I won’t be doing much I just don’t have the energy dd is off so she will take the dogs out. 

Dinner will be round 2 of the roast lamb which was delicious Nanny you would have been most welcome, there is enough for you tonight if you fancy it ?
