Kitchen fitter in London: any recommendations?

Hi all,

I’m looking for a kitchen fitter to install my new kitchen from DIY Kitchens at the beginning of January. I live in a flat in south central London.

The units will arrive fully assembled, and a stonemason will handle the granite worktop installation separately. There’s minimal plumbing required since the sink and dishwasher will remain in their current positions. I’m currently undergoing major renovations, with an electrician already relocating the sockets as needed.

Can anyone recommend a reliable kitchen fitter in London? Alternatively, are there any websites where I can post this job to find a qualified professional? We’re spending quite a lot in the kitchen and want to ensure it’s installed properly. I am attaching some pics below.

I can't imagine that any decent kitchen fitters are available for several months at a minimum. January 2026?

Agreed, it’s short notice. Ask your other tradesmen if they know anyone who has maybe had a cancellation. Your stonemason, in particular, has an incentive to find you someone, as otherwise he’s stuck with a load of stone he can’t get rid of.

Personally, I'd have found/scheduled fitter before ordering the kitchen. Or used a company which does the fitting as part of the order.

I'd see if your stonemason or electrician can recommend someone.
