Red roofing membrane visible

My partner has just had her roof reroofed. We can see the bright red membrane under one end of the roofing where the guttering is lower. Before we raise this with the roofer, is this normal? Had the membrane been black or grey it probably wouldn't have been noticeable but being red it sticks out and is not in keeping with the building.

I not a builder, but I thought the end of the roofing felt/membrane was normally tucked in behind the facia board. so that from the ground you can't see it.0

Traditionally you used to run the felt into the gutter, but nowadays with eaves support trays it can be cut shorter.
Permavent red is a high quality membrane.1 -

Mine is the same and is placed in the gutter to make sure any water getting under the tiles goes into the gutter0
