Close Brothers Savings Account question

I opened a Savings account and now I need to deposit some money into it, when I transfer the money it looks I transfer it to a Close Brothers account and they transfer it to my account, has anyone else experienced this?

It's nt uncommon. Several of the smaller banks work this way, using a bigger bank to handle the actual money collection part. Presumably you have to put something like an account ref and your initial / surname as the payment reference?
Sometimes the KYC systems get in a tizz over it, so double check all the details before you click "proceed anyway"
  • Ok thanks guys.
