What is the best worktop to use with a Belfast sink?
Does compact laminate work? I had wood before and didn't find it an issue, so that was another option.
Thanks

I put an Iroko one in our kitchen about 20 years ago, and it's still in good condition.1

Any solid or composite worktop is fine, composite worktops expect the fitting cost to be high as they destroy blades and router bits, compact laminate is the only time I have ever had a cutter snap on me.
Traditionally wooden worktops looks best but that depends on the style of kitchen you are going for.Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'0 -
I did my apprenticeship in a joinery shop anything external was made with Iroko, it’s so full of oil will last a lifetime outside unfinished.stuart45 said:I put an Iroko one in our kitchen about 20 years ago, and it's still in good condition.Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'1
