Can anyone advise me please I appealed to POPLA regarding a PCN which stated that I'd stayed at a petrol station for just over three hours what happened was I went to the petrol station my car was collected by a garage and removed with trade plates on the vehicle returned back to the garage with trade plate still on and then trade plates removed obviously the APNR camera assumed I'd been there the whole time. With my appeal to the PCN company and popla I gave them the name of the garage the trade plate number that was used and the contact details for the said garage but these appeals have been refused where do I go from here I'm not happy to pay a fine when there was no contravention made

Debt collectors letters are next
Followed by a Letter of Claim
Followed by a court claim
There is no fine, just an invoice for the alleged breach of the parking contract, court is where a judge will decide the outcome, UNLESS they discontinue before the hearing2 -
So I don't need to worry about ccj I will get to have my say in court?0

You would have to follow the process, which may include defending yourself in court. ( You may not be asked to speak in court, the judge will decide if they want information from you. )
If the judge rules against you, you have a grace period of 30 days to pay the judgment in full, to avoid any credit record issues
So if you lost in court, pay up , in full, ASAP, to swerve any future issues2 -
Thank you that is the way I will proceed 🤞1

What did the petrol station that contracted these scammers say when you complained?

If they'll do that one simple email (given they caused this) then it will give you the evidence you need.
Which PPC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
