Which security camera? Neos Smartcams now defunct!

My Neos Smartcams have done a great job over the years. Cannot complain at all. Their continuous recording has been very useful indeed. And other than the £25 outlay for each camera (I have 3) they haven't cost me a penny in subscriptions.
But as of this month the app discontinued and the footage can only be used when putting the SD card into a PC. There is a way, apparently, of using open-source software called Thingino to use the cameras online, but I'm not technical and I understand that better-quality cheap cameras may now be available?
Any recommendations for cameras which are internal, look out of a window, continuous recording and no subscription or extra charges?

It really isn't that difficult to flash the Thingino firmware, I did one of my Neos cams yesterday after watching these video's for a step by step guide.

for alternative cameras I picked up a Tapo C110 for £18 from Amazon a couple of months ago, needs an SD card but works well.

I will have a go at Thingino tomorrow then. See how I get on.
How does the picture quality on the new Tapo compare to the old Neos?
Is the Tapo app any good? Does it show incidents or do you have to take the SD card out and check on a PC?
£18 for a Tapo is very good. Cheap enough to buy just to check it out.0 -

The Tapo is fantastic. I have bought 2 with a 3rd on the way. Highly recommended!0
