Thermal wallpaper

  • It was on the walls of the master bedroom when I moved into this house 8 years ago. The room was freezing. I got a plumber to fit a larger radiator there. While he was soldering the new pipework, the thermal wallpaper caught fire! It was an absolute death trap. I stripped it all off immediately. The room is now properly heated and warm.

No, don't bother. I did it 2 years ago and has been a waste of time. Removed most some but still have more to remove.

If anyone knows of an easy way to remove it from the walls, would be appreciated.
    Could you explain, please, Danny?

We used Wallrock KV600 4mm thermal liner on the solid external walls of our house. It made a difference. The room temperature used to fall to 14 degrees overnight, after installation it fell to 16.
