Mice between floors

  • I think it might be starlings! There 2 hanging around at the end of my guttering but got off when i try and see what they are up to!
In your loft maybe. In the space between the ground and first floor? No chance.  They’ll roost in a loft at this time of year but to make their way down to there?

I found mice would come in the spaces during cold spells then be off again when it got better.
I did use what was to hand and that was flea spray for the dog :) but the smell was strong. Sprayed that here and there and not a peep from them after.

Found that strong smells can deter other things like cats. My neighbours cat would spray my front door and it seeped into the mat. Cedarwood essential oil (which smelled nice too) sorted that...................vinegar and the like no. Needs to be a real pong.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on
