External Work - Internal TV

I'm having some external work done via a clam to a crack in my bricks. Internally, near the crack is a wall mounted TV.

1. Should the TV come off the wall prior to the work?
2. Would the Insurer pay for the removal and re-instatment of this TV (it was professionally installed to begin with)?

Not sure what the claim is for, if its a claim for subsidence off home insurance or just defective work under a new build guarantee?

For the former the people should say if it's necessary or not to remove it, if it is then they should do it themselves for you.
  • Its for defective work for a new build.
