External Work - Internal TV

I'm having some external work done to a crack in my bricks. Internally, near the crack is a wall mounted TV.
1. Should the TV come off the wall prior to the work?
2. Would the Insurer pay for the removal and re-instatment of this TV (it was professionally installed to begin with)?

What is the external work? Just grinding out the mortar, and repointing? If so, nothing to worry about. If it means jack-hammering the outside wall!!!Then still now't to worry about. In fact, the only thing to worry about is the quality of TV these days. Have you SEEN iacgmooh?(Signed - old foggy.)0

It's down to the contractor to decide whether they can do the work without risk to the TV (they also have to assess the risk of removing the TV).
Yes, the insurer shoudl pay if the contract determines that the TV needs to be removed for the job to be done properly or to manage the risk to the TV.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
