DCB Legal - ECP - Legal court claim 2025

I have just come off a phone after waiting for 1 hour 35 minutes. I talked to consultant and he said that the document must have been missed or not filed and if i have automated acknowledgement I should email my defence again with proof that i have sent it before the deadline. I did just that. I'm not sure how it will end but hopefully they will get back to me this time with n180 form. This is very stressful process if I'm honest. I don't want CCJ on my file and the filing process seems to be faulty where they can just not read your email and you are done.4

Still should have shown defence in your history it was correctly emailed.
It's really quite frightening people end up with a default CCJ due to errors by CNBC staff. That practice should not be allowed while staff can't cope with present workload.
@Coupon-mad has been encouraging people to tell the MoJ Inquiry about these kinda issues have a read, you can forward submissions until Friday.

Worst case scenario how long do i have until CCJ is issued against me if I don't pay?
Has anyone been in similar situation where they sent their defence but it wasn't filed/acknowledged?3 -
Dozens. Loads of threads like it!
Very common error by the CNBC. Always sorted out and nobody paid. You did the right thing. Follow it up every 2 days until the CNBC confirm that they've set aside the CCJ error.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have chased this with Courts and Tribunals Service twice and finally yesterday my defence was acknowledged and CCJ removed.
That is a big relief. Now I'm back on track to defend this claim. I assume i should now wait for the court to set a date for the hearing? Are there any other steps I should be taking not to miss any deadline?

Directions Questionnaire is next.
DCB Legal will send you a copy in the post before the court ones arrives as an intimidation tactic.

Ok so I received 2 letters now.
One from DCBLegal celebrating their victory based on the automated CCJ telling me to pay within 30 days. I intend to email them to say that court made an error and I will be still defending this ridiculous claim.
The other one is from court saying they put this judgement aside. It has 2 points in IT IS ORDERED section and I'm not sure if i still need to apply for the order to be set aside?
It has already been set aside as far as I'm concerned. Please see screenshots below.

They have also attached N180 form filled out by their solicitor with details about how they want to proceed.
I have following 2 questions:
1. Do I need to wait for the N180 from from the court to then fill it out and return? Or should I download it from some site and fill it out and send to the other party?
2. Is there anything else I need to do at this stage?
Thanks!0 -
OK i re-educated myself and re-read the Template thread. It seems I'm at point 7. and waiting for 8. now to fill out the N180 and send back to court and claimants solicitors via email.7. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire or the usual template letter saying they 'intend to proceed' and/or want you to 'settle'. Ignore that!8. Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CNBC and then complete & email it to the CNBC (see box above for the DQ email) and cc in the info@ address for the legals acting for the Claimant. It's a simple form but all the DQ answers are here:2
