missing item from Amazon delivery

We had a parcel delivered but we didnt check inside the parcel until after the 30 days. Mainly because it was for my daughters birthday (sent by boyfriend) who was away until this day. Amazon do not want any responsibility !! It was an apple watch which cost £220. The box looks like it has been opened. Obviously between packing and posting its been stolen.

 Not surprised amazon wont do anything about this or take it truthfully given the 30 day delay in reporting it.

really annoying for you and quite upsetting I would think 

not much anybody can do but I suppose the best thing we can all do is to check deliveries soon as they arrive and be very careful if ordering high value items

If you were expecting something expensive the obvious thing would have been to check the parcel.
