Premier guarantee house warranty

My daughter and her husband have a house which is still under guarantee from Premier Guarantee. They had a leak on their bedroom ceiling, and called  their house insurance  to claim. The surveyor who came out said that it was poor workmanship and that they should claim on the structural guarantee company (Premier Guarantee). When contacting premier guarantee, they said for my daughter to get someone out to look at it. They had someone out who said there were various problems with the roof, cracked tiles, missing ridge cement etc. When they contacted Premier about it, they said to pay for a survey themselves, and send a report in. Looking at Premier's reviews, it seems they rarely cover any repairs! Any advice on how they can be made to do the work?

Get a roofer out to do a report and send it to them.

they've now had a roofer out and sent the pictures off to the warranty company. They found the ridge tiles had gaps in, there was a cracked tile, and some loose ones. When they looked in the loft, the nails pinning the felt on, instead of going into the joists, were showing through! they could also see daylight in the loft. Cowboy builders !
