Missing Royal Mail Shares

Probably a stupid question but I did have 279 royal mail shares which i know changed to IDS. These seem to have disappeared from my halifax share dealing account without trace. The last corporate action I can find is the suspension of the sale on 6th August. Can anyone enlighten me as to what happened?

Incidently I did receive a dividend of £5.98 on the 30th September

Sorry folks I think I can see what happened now. I opted to accept the offer of £3.60 and therefore the shares have been removed from my account. I'm just a bit surprised I can't see any reference to them anywhere.

Completed form to sell shares and returned it with shares. To date I have neither received payment for shares or the share certificates returned. Anyone have a contact to progress this?

The offer is still outstanding as it hasn't received the regulatory clearances it needs. You just need to keep abreast of IDS regulatory news announcements: see the regulatory news section at the bottom of the linked LSE page:
