Missing payments from Quidco to Nationwide

I've recently realised that my Quidco withdrawals over the past 8 years or so have been paid into an incorrect account. My name and sort code were imput correctly but my account number had one digit wrong.
Nationwide had previously told me that no one has that account number and that the transactions were 'floating' in their system, that IT would have to investigate and they would get back to me.
I am now being told that Nationwide can't trace them and that Quidco have to prove payment, Quidco have told me they've paid and nothing has bounced back so Nationwide have the money. I'm stuck.in the middle! Any advice as to how I can move this forward please? Nearly £800 at stake 😭 Thank you!

As internal suspense accounts can have massive amounts of payments in, & without correct details, they will never be traced.
Having worked these. They are a nightmare of credit & debits, as payments are moved. So unless you know the exact date & time & trans no. You will never find them.
TBH, I would doubt that Quidco would keep the details, so they would have to chase through their bank accounts for the details...Life in the slow lane0 -

In a previous conversation with Nationwide, they found a few of the missing payments 'floating' in their system and they took my details to pass on to the IT department to search for the others. I never heard back from them though and a year later, theres no record of my request and what was found and now there's nothing there's apparently no sign of any of the payments reaching Nationwide! Nationwide say they haven't received them, Quidco say they've sent them 🤷♂️0
