I will be sticking to passive funds in the future.
I don't disagree, but it is worth remembering that market cap index funds have benefitted by being heavy in US equities during a period when US equities have been the top performer.        In a cycle where global equity (exc US) outperforms US equity, then trackers will take some pain.    Historically, cycles tend to alternate between global and US.

Looks like it's now easier to dial down that risk using an all world ex US tracker.

I didn't think UK investors had that luxury. I had to go regional in order to reduce my US weighting due to lack of a suitable world ex-US option.

I've never been able to find a world ex-US passive tracker that's available in the UK either. I wish there was one.

That's very interesting. Thanks very much.  :)

It is listed on the LSE as EXUS for the US Dollar trading currency and as XMWX for the Sterling trading currency version.
