Sky + box on flats problem

Tried to upgrade to Q  on flats in the summer...engineer said no...first I assume the contract with sky q is null and void  as they cant deliver..but was working  until a few days ago..viewing card not authorized...tried new viewing card left by engineer,  seemed to work...but doesn't  recognize pin number on viewing card...even when reset on main menu....as its virtually  impossible  to speak to someone on sky...posted for help in sky community...but if that doesnt work may have to cancel...or go with sky glass... surely they wouldn't try to hold me to the failed Q contract

Don't count on it.  It is not impossible to speak to someone - though they may be overseas.....  Just go through the options - start with cancel, then change the contract,......
