Kuppersbusch ovens

I've had a Kuppersbusch oven for almost 22 years. It's just started to trip the electrics and there's a bit of smoke. It may well be the element which could be replaced, but is it worth paying the £143 to get it fixed? I'm concerned there might be more problems to come. They are top of the range ovens, but has it likely reached the end of its life? Anyone got one that's lasted much longer? Thanks

Have you looked how much the element itself costs? They dont tend to be too difficult to fit1

Sorry, a bit late replying to this. It started working again but now the same issue arises. The parts required add up to £143 with fitting on top of this. It would come to around £280 total.0
