When applying for a basic bank account when you have been married for 15 years but the house deeds and morgage are solely in spouces name should you select the accomodation status "Owner with mortgate" or "Living with friends / relative not parent".

I'd go for the former personally. My reasoning would be that while you personally don't own it nor have a mortgage, your marital household does.It probably doesn't matter much, so long as you're consistent application to application.0

By virtue of your marriage, you have a beneficial interest in the house - it does not have to be in your name. You are therefore an 'Owner with mortgage'.0

The bank aren't going to ask to see the deeds to your house or the mortgage statements.
They will probably want some kind of confirmation of address - of which a mortgage can be useful, but it's not the only option.0 -
I'd go for owner as well - but whatever you do, its important to be consistent.
Chopping and changing to see what happens could see you being flagged on National Hunter.0 -
Odds are you have some sort of claim towards the house by virtue of being married for 15 years, regardless what the deeds say. I'd also say you should select home owner0
