Is he likely to have written a will himself, or would he have used a solicitor? If the latter, it may be possible to ask a local company if they hold it, and if not, are they able to make enquiries of other local firms.Signature removed for peace of mind0

you may find a cousin / second cousin or similar - but that would probably be down to probate genealogists who spend their time chasing these things0 -
