Is he likely to have written a will himself, or would he have used a solicitor? If the latter, it may be possible to ask a local company if they hold it, and if not, are they able to make enquiries of other local firms.Signature removed for peace of mind0

It is good of you to worry about the cars but TBH in the absence of very close or obvious relatives and no will then nobody can really complain if something does happen to the cars.JennyWrennie said:To the best of our knowledge, there’s no known living blood relatives, and we’ve known him for over sixty years. you may find a cousin / second cousin or similar - but that would probably be down to probate genealogists who spend their time chasing these things0 -
