Inheritance payment bank charges

Hopefully you're happy with the result. I expect they have done it because it'll cost them less to make you go away than to waste their time providing a defence to the Legal Ombudsman (which they might have lost).

You seem to be implying the OP is smug about this outcome. Whereas it would appear they now have what was due.

Perhaps the solicitor did it because the actually knew it was the correct thing to do.
