Change of room use - no building regs

Hello,
I moved my bathroom from the ground floor into the room directly above on the first floor (that was previously a bedroom). I’m now selling my house and it’s clear I have done this based on the previous listing photos and floorplan from when I bought. Would I be best to try and get retrospective building regulations approval?

    Presumably you connected onto the existing waste? 

    You'd only need an electrical certificate and evidence of an extractor fan.  It's not a very onerous job as far as regulations go, so it might be a good idea.

    Yes connected into the existing waste. We got an extractor fan. Don’t have an electrical certificate but an electrician did all the electrics so could probably obtain one.

    No we didn’t and we can’t change that now as have LVT glued down.

    Oh no I’m worried now! Have made the regularisation application to building control. But not sure if they will fail us over the joists 😫 for context, the bath is acrylic 1500mm freestanding roll top on four legs. Its against an external wall stood in the opposite direction to the joists. My bathroom width is about 2400mm wide.

    It will 'pass', or it will 'fail'. Not much you can do about it now. If it 'fails' get the works done. Hopefully whoever did the works will have realised you don't want the bathroom making it's own way downstairs. You can get a leccy certificate fairly cheap
