  • Is there parking for two cars side by side?

It looks like it’s only possible with one behind the other, so one car blocks the other one in.   That’s how the neighbours have theirs.

It’s a lot of money for a small property, and considering the cost of season tickets I think commuters will be looking at what they can get for the same price in outer London.

  • Hmmm, why’s OP’s link been removed?
    Can’t be site policy, surely?

Yes, it's the stupid rule "Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address."

Given the whole point of selling a property is to reveal its actual address, and how a randomly chosen user name on an anonymous internet forum is "personally identifiable information" is beyond me, but clearly the moderation team feel banning is easier than thinking.  It's the internet equivalent of security theatre.

Hi all, many thanks for the advice of those who were able to see the link, all is being taken into account!

Edit: Also sorry mods for breaking the rules, I didn't realize there had been a change since the last time I was here. My bad!

The idea is that it is for your  own security.
However not everyone agrees with the policy.

People who want to follow the progress of a house sale just save the link. As I mentioned previously, it seems very overpriced, where are you finding the massive uptick in value since 2017?

I haven’t seen the link, so can’t comment on your house. However, when I put a property on the market at a good price recently, it attracted 4 offers at full asking price in the first ten days. The agent may have underpriced it a bit, or the buyers may have underpriced the refurbishments required.  But, in any case, it underlines the point that there are buyers out there.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Haven't seen the property. What's on the market in your locality for a similar price? Monitoring how quickly these properties move will provide a better picture of what's happening on the ground.
  • To answer the original question, the time to drop the price is now, if borrowing costs shoot up next year it will be even harder to sell, as for how much to drop, use PropertyLog as a guide.

Any examples of what they could actually get for that price?
