Is anyone else having a problem signing up for this?   I have tried several times in the past week to sign up for this and keep receiving the message they are experiencing technical issues, it really doesn't inspire me with confidence that a technical problem takes at least a week to fix, I am assuming they aren't too bothered about losing customers.

When you're in, their tech side is pretty good, before that it's terrible.
They aren't very compatible with Apple products is one thing I know.
Another is to try calling them, if you can find the right number there's usually someone sensible to speak to.

I signed up for a business account several years ago and even then it took me quite a while to get any consistent responses that actually helped. However as RFW says once you're signed up it is easier to get help going forward.

I haven't used my RM business account though for quite a while, I found it considerably dearer than just buying individual postage, I had a few disasters with bags getting lost , and of course no compensation for loss. It was good, even with no compo, when I was selling loads of similar weight items, and I loved the weight evening for large letters that meant I could add in a few over 100g LLs and only pay for them at the LL rate. 

I'm really running my business down now so I don't need the convenience of printing my labels in bulk by weight for identical items.
