In summary the Judge was unhappy that no one turned up for the claimant. I knew the claimant was not appearing but expected their legal representative. Judge's exact words regarding no show was "disgraceful....".

The case took 4 minutes more or less as he had looked at the lease and said "no idea why this claim has been filed.."

The Judge awarded me costs and said they would be paid directly to me within 14 days. If not paid, "send in the bailiffs..."

So another success but you have to wonder how much court time is being wasted, there were 4 cases regarding parking today at this particular court based on the board at the court.

I will monitor this forum and if I can use my experience today and throughout this process I will add comments.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

When you get the short written judgment outcome in January (proof that you won the case and got costs), consider:

- sharing a redacted version with neighbours, put it on the noticeboard or whatever and tell victims similarly affected NOT TO PAY, and to come here;

- sending a pic of it to the MA and the parking firm and opt out immediately. Tell them to CEASE and DESIST with this harassment and you will not be displaying any jumped-up permit now, because this regime is a derogation from grant, which is an unenforceable scheme.  Add that you have spread the word with other residents, who will also likely opt out of this unsolicited moneymaking crap.  The parking firm should be sacked forthwith.

To be honest I'm not happy with Gladstones as they seem to spend all their time on this nonsense based on Trustpilot reviews. Absolutely shocking some of the stories. I have wondered about putting in a formal complaint in relation to their behaviour.

Its been done numerous times,  but please do so,  SRA plus your own local MP,  plus sign the revamped petition as well
