Last month I had booked two facial treatments during a promotion but I wasn't ask to pay for it during the online booking. I had booked the session a few weeks in advance due to my schedule and their availability. After the treatment, I was told to pay the full price instead because the promotion was over. I feel like I was scammed because the treatment was not worth the full price and I wasn't told about the actual cost before the treatment started.
I didn't really argue with the employee because it seemed like the branch simply received an order from the main HQ website and they couldn't do anything about it.
But I've been wondering is this allowed?

Any mention of having to use before certain date?Life in the slow lane0 -
No mention of doing a treatment before a certain date.
In the general T/C, it does mention, I "will be prompted to pay to pay the relevant cost of those goods and/or services including any taxes and charges that may apply via the Website or telephone (as applicable)."0 -

Under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the trader has to provide you with various bits of information before you enter into a contract. One of those bits of information is:
"...the total price of the goods, services or digital content inclusive of taxes, or where the nature of the goods, services or digital content is such that the price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the manner in which the price is to be calculated..."
I'd go back and tell them that you want a partial refund so that you only pay whatever the promotional offer was.
If you're saying that the service wasn't even worth the promotional offer, that's a separate issue.0
