Euro parks error on PCN

Hello. I’m getting myself a bit confused with how best to go about this. I got a windscreen ticket 23 days ago. The ticket machines were coins only and there no ringo app or similar and didn’t take card payment (in an time where cashless is being promoted so much) or notes, I spoke to a staff member who said ‘it should be ok’. It wasn’t ok and got a ticket.
Timings were as follows:
observed entry into car car park - 14:27
ticket issued - 15:04
shop receipt - 15:05
Found the PCN when at another shop so got cash out and went back and purchased a ticket at 16:15 in the hope it would help with any possible appeal.
Having now looked at the PCN I can see the registration is correct but the vehicle make listed is incorrect. I am yet to receive a notice to keeper.

a) ignore it based on the vehicle model technicality
d) acknowledge it and simply say in not paying as I don’t own an xx brand car (although reg is correct - but in theory the isssuer could have been looking at 2 cars next to each other of the same colour and made an error issuing the ticket?!)
c) appeal and set out the above and say ticket was eventually purchased, their machines didn’t allow me to pay at the necessary time and it’s not reasonable or proportionate to charge in the circumstances?
d) suck it up and pay
any advice is much appreciated!

No none of that is advised, you are dealing with a private parking invoice it doesn't matter what make or colour of car it is they have the VRN, and these scammers have probably put the wrong make down hoping you will think that is an appeal point and dob yourself in as the driver.Paying retrospectively would never work, and you parked under their terms and conditions so they will say you accepted the charges outlined.Who was the "staff member" that trapped you into this mess?Read the newbies thread on here where the whole sorry process and scams are explained, no one pays ECP they are greedy scammers that are delighted when this happens, don't you think it's interesting or even a contrived scam in this day and age they only take cash?2
