Morning All
Hoping those of you in the North and Scotland can keep safe and warm in the coming days.
Peony nice to see you back, enjoy your visit to Dmum.
TA hope the dentist goes well
Remmie hope situation with DGD is resolved soon
As Gers and Yorkslass have said wills are so important. I had to get my Ddad to make a new one after his last wife died and I also put LPA 's in place.
It helped so much to sort dad's affairs out even before he passed as he lost capacity to make decisions for himself.
DH and I have both made wills but have seen a post where it is suggested they are updated every 5 years or so.
Off to docs shortly not sure what else the day will bring. I do need to do some "crochet homework" before the next lesson on Friday.
Have a good day hugs to all who want them

The procedure was ok yesterday. I opted for no sedation again, purely because I wanted to leave as soon as it was done. It was painful in parts but gas and air helped and it wasn't as bad as the first time I had it without sedation. Both times I've had a nurse telling me afterwards that I was brave and they wouldn't do it without sedation. Anyway the Dr was reassuring that everything was ok so hopefully that's the end of it for a good while. Sorry if it's too much information.
It's good to know that you are OK and the procedure was bearable. You deserve a medal for going without sedation.

Hello from Mehefinland
Well I may not have had frost but it certainly made up for it with rain last night. Much milder this morning than I anticipated but the biting wind of yesterday has dropped and it does make difference.
Went out to dinner last night at a friends - roast pork plus all the trimmings. it was lovely and you are right ladies in that I ought not to shut myself away.
The chaps removing the hedges/trees have just finished - it will take some time to adjust to all the extra light and space. I can see down the road now - ideal for nosey parkers lol.
Here's another one who advocates getting your wills done and kept up to date! After the fun and games I had just getting the original of my own back from the solicitor ( they had been taken over several times in fairness) and realising just how out of date it was, I now have to give some serious consideration of what I want to do, bearing in mind I have to factor in the upkeep of the animals too. As and adjuct - know where the blooming things are! Or at the very least let someone else know.
Hugs and spoons as always. Keep safe and warm if you are in the frosty zone.

Afternoon allBeen out with my colleague from work as she has a significant birthday this week and gave her her present as she's away at the weekend with her family celebrating.Remmie I absolutely agree with what everyone else said re your DGD. How spiteful those girls were. They and the teacher who told her not to make a fuss need a good talking to. Feel for her not being at home with her parents to get some respite.TA hope your dental procedure went smoothlyKeep warm those of you up north!8
