To be eligible for our Next Drive tariff you need to have a smart meter that can send us half hourly updates on your energy use. This is so we can bill you for the right rate.
Searched Eon Next Drive on Facebook, these comments on a Octopus Customers Smart Tariff related groupdefinitely whole house as I don’t have an EV and get everything I consume offpeak at the offpeak rate.no EV required for E.On NextDrive. It’s EV or solar.

"Eligibility.3.1 To be eligible for this tariff you must:
3.2 Own or lease an electric or hybrid vehicle, or have a solar storage system."
