Amazon Market Place Ques

I'm confused as I wish to buy my memory card for my Sony camera from Amazon but notice they do not sell any themselves, just ones from other companies. The companies that I can find do not have 100% feedback and I'm not sure of the returns policy if the memory stick doesn't work.

Is it safe to buy this from Amazon via a different company??
Thank you

Depends on the company, it's a bit like asking if something is safe to buy from ebay, all depends on the seller. I've heard nightmare things about some Amazon sellers but I've personally had brilliant experiences with some of them. Even had one refund me full amount simply because it was delayed by a day in posting (I hadn't even complained about it)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Or you could buy it from play http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/6-/Search.html?searchstring=Sony+1GB+Pro+Duo+Memory+Stick+&searchtype=ELEC&searchsource=0 or somewhere else."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

The thing is - why don't Amazon just sell it themselves? To be honest I'd rather use your Play link and not send money to a company which hasn't got 100% feedback.0 -
I've used Amazon Market Place sellers without problems. I know some don't have 100% feedback but then do a google search on any online retailer and you'll find some dissatisfied customers.
7dayshop are normally pretty good. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_6&products_id=100616It's my problem, it's my problem

Thanks for that, what's their postage like?
EDIT: Tried to order but they only deliver to cardholder addy and I'm at uni so would go to my uni address. Shame!0 -
once they have your card info, they despatch straight away. Everything I've ever ordered arrived within 2/3 days. I think that's hence their name, you get it within 7daysThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I too am a great fan of 7dayshop. Postage from 7dayshop is £3.95 per order ... note that if it is a larger order they will split it into smaller consignments so don't panic if something is missing from first jiffy bag. I usually order on a Sunday and would have the goods by Wed or Thu at the latest.
I have to admit that the marketplace is something I do not like about Amazon and I wish there was filter that could remove items NOT sold by amazon ... especially since many charge £4.95 per item delivery.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
Postage is half price at 7dayshop at the moment, it's £1.95 for a limited time. It's my problem, it's my problem

This infuriates me about amazon. It doesn't tell you the postage until your checking out; it really needs to be clearer who you're buying from and how much its going to cost.0
