Is the amount for over £1500Km and 3 hours delay £350 or is it 400 euro?
Do the airlines have a choice regarding which of these to pay ?

If a claim is made under the UK261 regulations it's £350, but if under the EU ones it's €400. Some flights will be covered under both sets of regulations, and in such cases the passenger can theoretically choose which to claim under.1

So I guess if a customer makes a claim to Wizzair via their website since they operate out of the EU, it it likely the result will be the slightly lower EU amount.
That explains it I think. Thanks.0
