Hello,

I parked in my residency car park which I do not have a permit for as a one off (yes silly). I am the registered keeper however they do not know who was driving at the time and can’t prove that.

Just wanted some advice is it worth doing the template about not being the named driver on the appeal or should I just pay it this time around. Just want some advice I begrudge giving these type of companies my money if I don’t have to.

This company are a member of IPC

Whilst they cannot know who was driving, they have attempted to comply with the law named POFA 2012 to try to invoke keeper liability  ( although I couldn't see any invite to the keeper to pay. )

They are well known for issuing court claims too

We don't recommend paying, but fly parking is also frowned upon, fly parking leads to these situations arising

The newbies sticky thread in announcements tells you to appeal once, then to ignore anything until the pre court stage

The choice is yours to make

I never say this but I'd pay it.  You can't abuse what looks like residential undercroft parking like that.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Mr Gallimore, whilst you have made a half-hearted attempt at hiding your name and vehicle's registration mark, you have left one instance of your VRM clearly visible top right of that PCN.
  • @Coupon-mad Yh honestly I was thinking to pay it on this occasion I don’t see any other way tbh. Just wanted some opinions since you are experts.

@KeithP thanks for notifying me of this I rushed my attempt at censoring and I didn’t even notice I left the VRM still visible at the top.

Thanks for all of your fast replies
