  • Doesn't sound like fraud to me, sounds like business.

    Someone has said something to keep a customer/client/individual who is pestering them quiet. This happens all the time in the world.

    "Yes it is with the XYZ team"
    "Yes its next in the to do list"
    "I was just about to send you a copy"
    "Customer team will call you back"

    He is saying something to get you off his back and keep you quiet.
    The process will still be progressing and at some point you will get a decision, just because the Loss Adjuster has told you it is with company A when it appears this is not the case does not mean any fraud has taken place. Most likely it means he wants you to leave him to do his job.
