How Long Does Co Operative Bank Cashminder Account Opening Take?

Hello.

I hope you're well. On Wednesday (13th Nov), I applied online for a Co Operative Bank Cashminder account this Wednesday gone (13th Nov) and I got an email yesterday (14th Nov) to say that my application has been approved subject to some formalities which I'm guessing is their credit checks etc.

I was just wondering if anyone who's recently opened an account with the Co Operative Bank (particularly a Cashmknder as that's what I've applied for due to my credit rating) could give me an idea of how long it takes them to do these formalities and give me an update on the opening of the account?

Concur with the above, about a week all being well. A bit longer to receive debit cards and PIN numbers.
