Find all the hidden gnomes in today’s Daily Star and you could walk away with a huge shopping prize

If you look carefully through today’s Daily Star newspaper (November 15), you'll find a number of gnomes hiding among the pages.

For your chance to get £100 in your Asda Rewards Cashpot, simply count how many gnomes there are, then fill in the entry form below*. Make sure you also download the Asda Rewards app.

Whether or not you're a winner, with the Asda Rewards app, you can earn pounds, not points, to spend in-store and online.

The app is so easy to use too – every time you shop, just make sure you scan the barcode in the app before you pay.

There are a few different and easy ways you can build your Cashpot with Asda Rewards. Look out for Star Products – there are hundreds across the store and online, and you earn 10% of the product price back in your Cashpot.

You can also complete shopping Missions to earn extra money for your Cashpot. Missions include spending a specific amount on qualifying products or buying a certain number of items from a single Asda department. Check the app to see what Missions are available each week.

Terms and Conditions: This competition is open to anyone who is a resident of the United Kingdom except employees of Reach plc. Entrants must be 18 or older. This competition opens at 00.01 on November 15 and closes at 23:59 on November 21, 2024.

To enter: Please count the number of gnomes hidden in the Daily Star newspaper on November 15, 2024. Once you have your answer, fill out this form on the Daily Star, and submit your answer.

The prize: There will be 10 prize winners. Each winner will receive £100 in their Asda Rewards Cashpot - within 30 days of claiming the prize.

Winners that do not have an Asda Rewards account will need to register and sign up to Asda Rewards in order to receive their prize. 

The 10 prize winners will be selected at random using an independently verified computer-generated system. Winners will be selected from all valid submissions with correct answers before the closing time of the competition. Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw date of November 25, 2024. If we have not received any response to our email from the winner within 7 days from the date of our notification email, we will draw another winner. Failure to respond within 7 days will result in forfeiture of the prize.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The decisions of the promoters are final in relation to the promotion. 

This competition will appear on the Daily Star and any of its associated newsletters. Entry to the competition is restricted to one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Automated entries or third-party entries will be disqualified. Prizes can only be awarded with a valid email address. By entering the competition, all entrants acknowledge that their personal information will be used by Reach to administer the competition and winners’ details will be shared with Asda for prize fulfilment and to comply with a request for winners’ details (see above). Personal information will only be shared with third parties where it is necessary for these purposes.

Reach shall process any personal information you supply to it as set out in its privacy policy and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Entrants can request access to their personal information, or have their personal information corrected. Personal information will only be retained for as long as is necessary to administer the competition and to comply with a request for winners’ details (see above) and will not be used for any other purpose.
