in Credit cards
Hello
I opened a MBNA credit card and thought the initial balance transfer I had done to a Barclaycard and Halifax card had not gone through.
I opened a MBNA credit card and thought the initial balance transfer I had done to a Barclaycard and Halifax card had not gone through.
I then applied for a transfer again for a second time to a Barclaycard and Halifax card.
All 4 then went through and were duplicated
I have contacted Barclaycard and they have recalled the payment back to my current account to pay into my new MBNA Interest free account
however I hadn’t realised when I applied the second time I had applied for the balance transfer to a closed account of a previous card in Halifax by accident
Halifax said they can’t do anything their end because the account is closed
MBNA are saying I have to wait for it to “bounce back” however this application was on the 12th and I have been told 48-72hrs for it to be bounced back to my card
I am very anxious and worried that this money is “lost” somewhere now and not entirely sure how to check its definitely going to be refunded back into my card
