Hello all, I'm still around, just been busy with appointments and Dad, who is still driving me up the wall. Yesterday he rang me to complain that the pharmacy delivery van which was delivering in his road hadn't brought him anything even though his meds are not due. He also had the nurse turn up who took his blood, he didn't ask why but he knew where she was from, how old she was etc though 🙄
Mr Fix It had his diabetic review this week and had his knuckles rapped as his sugars were elevated. I told him he shouldn't eat so much chocolate and cake !! He's still playing with his 3D printer so that's keeping him occupied and out of the biscuit tin !!
I've still got pain in my leg which is getting me down and I had to cancel my hair dressing appointment because I couldn't sit in the chair for long enough. Just to top my week off someone has purloined my green waste bin so I've had to order a new one from the council, shame as the old one was a small one and this one is almost as big as me !!
Today I need to put the dw on and make a lamb hot pot in the slow cooker for tea.
taff hope you get an appointment today.
Camelot enjoy today, hope you get a lot of money for Pudsey.
Coxy good luck with the move, I hope all goes smoothly.
Take care all, lots of love.

Thank you all for the welcome back and your kind words. I'll try to post every day (a bit late today) but, be warned, some of it may well be waffle!
My grocery delivery was a little late arriving yesterday, very unusual, but at least it came. All P&C with one sub, acceptable, and I received the refund for the price difference this morning. We have a primary school on the other side of our street so the delivery driver had problems parking as it was school pick up time - I think he had to park on the grass verge.
This morning was rather chilly and dull to start with, but it lightened a little as the day went on, no sign of the big yellow ball in the sky though. Not looking forward to next week's forecast for sleet/ice on Monday/Tuesday.
DS is on bereavement leave this week but had an early start to the day for a hospital appointment for another ECG. All looking good, blood pressure OK etc so hopefully they've now got the balance of medications right. He'll find that out the week after next when he sees Emma, his Health Care Team worker - he calls her his "Nurse Mum". He popped in on his way home for a cuppa and a chat, plus he moved a bit of furniture around for me. I don't think he'll be coming this weekend but that's OK, I've lots to occupy myself with and could do with a bit of "me time".
After he left I had a walk up to the Co-Op for odds and ends that I can't get on my grocery delivery and walked back home the long way round so I could return a book to The Little Free Library. Of course, one came home with me too. I've definitely got plenty of books to keep me going through the winter months.
Tea tonight is cod in butter sauce, mash and mixed veg. Not sure about afters, maybe a warm apple pie with a dollop of ice cream.
I can't remember what anyone has said (out of practice) so I'll just send hugs for the sad, lonely, ill, sleep deprived, stressed, overworked, underpaid - you get the picture!Be kind to others and to yourself too.12
