Wallpaper in bathroom

I've just stripped it off and it peeled away very easily. Now I intend to give an undercoat and then a topcoat with the bathroom paint that you can buy. My only snag is that there are tiny bits of wallpaper stuck behind cabinets, towel-rail etc and they are too thin to grab and peel. I've tried pliers and tweezers but I'm only ripping off tiny shreds. Any idea how I can get these pesky thin pits off? Would they show if I painted over them? It's mostly the thin papery layer that stuck behind not the coloured side.
Thanks for any tips

can you not take the bathroom cabinet and towel rail off and then remove the paper then paint and put them back up.
it will look a lot nicer, will be easier to paint this way as well as you wont have to paint round things.0 -
Hmmm.....well you could always remove the towel rail and cabinets etc and then remove the paper
OR.. you could use a stanley/craft knife to cut the paper 'cleanly' at the edges you require

Stanley knife sounds a good idea...thanks both.Shanni0

What about the 'wallpaper remover' liquid, like paint stripper - but not so caustic, I'd guess.
